Have experience in counseling, mentoring or other people oriented services? Want a position where you can set your own schedule and have the flexibility to work non-traditional scheduling as needed? Are you interested in working in the Travis, Williamson, Bell County area? You found the right place! The Hope Project is looking for:

Community Living Specialists- provide services in the home and community of individuals and families to provide resource and problem solving for more effective and efficient relationships. May provide transportation, tutoring, case management or other necessary services. Works with clients to develop plans to meet goals. May provide advocacy, teach self- advocacy, parental coaching or other needed services to meet goals. Works as a team member within parameters of sponsors and management.

Requirements:

Qualified Mental Health Professional-Community Services (QMHP-CS) or a QMHP-CS equivalent,

Defined as an individual who has a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in Psychology, Social Work, Medicine, Nursing, Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, Human growth and development, Physician assistant, Gerontology, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or Early Childhood Intervention;

Or is a registered nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license issued by the State of Texas;

Or completes an alternative QMPH-CS credentialing process;

Must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Texas driver’s license and verified experience with the Target Population.

May provide advocacy, teach self- advocacy, parental coaching or other needed services to meet goals. Works as a team member within parameters of sponsors and management.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED equivalent

At least 18 years old,

Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and verified experience with the Target Population

Counseling-provides therapeutic counseling to assist individuals and/or families to build tools, strategies and resources for effective living at work, home and community settings. May include problem solving skill building, developing critical thinking, developing a plan for wellness, achieving family or individual goals for coping and thriving, and other strategies to address barriers to healthy lifestyles and relationships.

Requirements:

Licensed Psychologist (PhD) or
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
